Commencement 2021 Update亚博网站最新

This has been a year like no other and we applaud all of our graduate candidates for your resiliency and dedication to continuing your studies. When it was announced in September that all 23 California State University campuses would offer primarily virtual instruction through spring 2021, it directly impacted our commencement planning.

For our 2020 Graduates, when it was announced that the 2020 in-person commencement ceremony was postponed, we, along with all of our graduates, were extremely saddened that we could not celebrate your accomplishments with your family and friends. We promised each of our graduates that we would hold an in-person ceremony in the future when guidelines would permit gatherings.

Though traditional in-person commencement ceremonies are not currently permitted due to health and safety concerns, we are very much committed to delivering a meaningful celebration that recognizes the accomplishments of our graduates.

The Commencement Team has been evaluating different scenarios that would be able to adapt to potential future guidelines. We are paying close attention to local, state, and federal guidelines to ensure our compliance with health regulations.

We hope to provide more information by the end of January or beginning of February with an email to each of our graduates along with posting the information on this website.

We wish you a safe and healthy New Year, and we look forward to celebrating the Class of 2021 and 2020.?

The Commencement ceremony at CSU Channel Islands is a candidate's ceremony and not a degree conferral ceremony. Participation in the ceremony does not guarantee degree certification. Candidates who are denied will receive notification by mail from the Records & Registration office. Denied candidates are required to reapply for graduation once all degree requirements are met.
